Covid-19 Update - Site Visitors
As a business Abtech has a duty of care to our Employees, Customer and Suppliers. We are therefore not currently allowing visitors on to Abtech premises at any of our facilities in the UK, Germany, Singapore and the USA.
UK Government’s guidance remains clear, that while the infection rate is still climbing, we must as a united force be vigilant and aware of our surroundings. We are naturally taking guidance from several UK and International sources, and developing a plan for the further 3-month period.
At present, we remain firm and are not allowing any face to face visits to take place, on or off-site.
We are encouraging all meetings to take place using either Microsoft Teams or Zoom. These tools have been successfully used in recent months to conduct many audits and inspections of the finished product. Our businesses have adopted this approach globally, and for the moment need to adhere to this approach.
The current COVID intelligence is suggesting a spike in cases during October, and November, and therefore our resolve remains unchanged. We must keep our staff as safe as practicably possible, but all the Abtech businesses continue to conduct itself in a near-normal manner for the foreseeable future.
